We are paying tribute to the incredible Dolly Parton and the legacy she has created especially through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library with her love of children, books and literacy.
Through our partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, every child aged 0–5 years in Drumchapel has received a free monthly book, helping to inspire a lifelong love of reading and learning.
Our Senior Housing Officer, Marisa Gioiella, said:
“We have been contacted today with the wonderful reassurance that Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will continue, and the commitment to providing books to children has never been greater.
“This means the gift of reading, imagination and opportunity will continue to reach children and families at the heart of the community. What a remarkable legacy, and one that will continue to make a difference for generations to come.”
