Garden Competition Our Garden Competition is back! The garden competition is open to all tenants – you can nominate yourself, a neighbour or any other tenant. Summer Fun Day Our Summer Fun Day will be held at 4 Kinclaven Avenue on Saturday 10 August 2024 Spring Newsletter Our Spring Newsletter is now available Ground Maintenance Contract for 2024/2025 We are pleased to announce that we have appointed a new ground maintenance contractor M Squared who will commence work on the estate from Monday 13th May 2024. Review of Equality and Human Rights Policy We are currently reviewing our Equality and Human Rights Policy and are welcoming your feedback and views on the policy. Easter Drawing Competition We are inviting children of our tenants up to primary school age to pop into the office with their Easter-themed drawings or colouring in (you can collect a sheet from the office). Gully Cleaning Programme Glasgow City Council's Gully Cleaning Programme is scheduled to take place in the Drumchapel area from Sunday 18th February 2024. Review of Service Delivery Policies We are currently carrying out a review of some of our service delivery policies. Housing Register Review We are currently reviewing our housing register. All applicants will receive an email with a link to SurveyMonkey to complete a short questionnaire. Rent Review Consultation 2024/25 Our Rent Review Consultation 2024/25 is now live and will run until Thursday 11th January 2024. Christmas Raffle We have entered all households into a Christmas Raffle for the chance to win one of the prizes donated by our contractors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our hardworking contractors for the work they carry out on behalf of the Co-operative on a daily basis. We are asking tenants for feedback, and any returned questionnaires will be entered into our prize draw to win one of two Love2Shop vouchers. Regulator launches national discussion on the future of social housing regulation in Scotland The Scottish Housing Regulator has launched a national discussion on the future of social housing regulation in Scotland. They have published a discussion paper and are inviting tenants, landlords and others with an interest in its work to share their feedback and views by 11 August 2023. Winter Hardship Fund Our Spring 2023 detailed information that we had secured funding from the Winter Hardship Fund to enable us to provide all tenants with a £50 shopping voucher. The Scottish Housing Regulator (www.housingregulator.gov.scot) protects the interests of tenants and other users of Council and housing association services. The National Panel is one of the ways we can hear from tenants and people who use social landlord services and make sure we focus on the important things. Annual Assurance statements 2022 We are delighted to announce that we have successfully submitted our 4th Annual Assurance Statement to the Scottish Housing Regulator. Community Council Meeting The Community Council will be holding a public meeting on Thursday 24th November, at Drumchapel High School, from 7-9pm. The Community Council and Thriving Places will present the Community Hub Report, which is the result of the recent survey carried out. Glasgow Helps Glasgow Helps is a new service set up to work directly with the people of Glasgow. The service offers free, confidential support, information and advice for citizens that aims to assist them to access the support they need, when they need it. Winterfest 2022 Saturday 5 November, 2022 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Drumchapel Park, Howgate Ave, Glasgow G15 8LY WINTERFEST community event returns to Drumchapel after having missed this for two years due to covid pandemic. Sparkling evening of fun with huge fireworks display, music, entertainment, funfair, street theatre, dancers and more. Tenant Report Card 2022 We are pleased to enclose this year's Tenant Report Card 2021/22. The Tenant Report Card provides the Co-operative’s performance against charter outcomes and provides comparisons with the previous year’s performance and also local and national performance. In addition, we have consulted with Tenant Panel members on additional information to be included within the report and the design and layout. Roof Anchor Checks Roof Anchor Checks Drumchapel Housing Co-op Ltd have instructed Paterson Safety Anchors to test the roof anchors. They will need access to loft hatches in many of our main door properties and upper flats where the loft hatch is within the property. It is essential that these checks are carried out as if repairs are required to the roof the roof anchors ensure the safety of the contractors carrying out the works. Tenant Satisfaction Survey 2022 Research Resource Scotland will be on the estate from today, Monday 4 July 2022, conducting our Tenant Satisfaction Survey.
